School Appeals represents parents at successful appeal

Recently John Chard has successfully represented parents at appeals in Liverpool and Gloucestershire. John was approached by parents to help them with appeals following unsuccessful appeals. In both cases the parents had been offered appeals but were not successful. After contacting John, he suggested that the parents make a complaint to the Local Government Ombudsman because he identified administrative faults with the appeals which meant that the parents had not received fair hearings.

As a result both parents were offered fresh hearings and John was asked to attend to help present the cases.

John was able to successfully challenge the admission authorities' cases and as a result both appeals were successful and places have now been offered at both schools.

Not surprisingly, the parents were over the moon with the outcome and their children will now be attending the school of their choice.
