Do you need help with your appeal?
School Appeals has now launched a service where we can not only help you to prepare for an appeal but also to represent you.
Many parents are unsuccessful with their school admission applications and wish to appeal but do not feel confident in putting the case across at an appeal.
In response to this concern, School Appeals is now able to represent parents at appeals. The Principal of School Appeals, John Chard, has now represented a number of parents at appeals with an impressive outcome. John has represented 15 parents and of these 10 were successful. Of the remaining 5 appeals, 3 resulted in successful complaints to the Local Government Ombudsman with either fresh hearings or places being offered. In the remaining 2 cases the parents chose not to persue the matter any further despite the fact that John identified significant flaws in the appeals which could have resulted in fresh appeals being offered.
When you appreciate that the national success rate is about 35%, John's success rate is indeed impressive.
John is keen to develop this service further next year and given more time, will now be able to represent even more parents.
