This is the title of the book written by John Chard, Principal of School Appeals, which is the most comprehensive Guide ever written about school admissions and appeals and includes sections on England, Wales and, for the first time, Scotland.
The book takes you step by step through the admission and appeals processes and hopefully will lead to a successful outcome. The book includes provisions about the new Codes on School Admissions and School Admission Appeals, the latter of which applies to decisions communicated to parents on or after 1 March 2008. The chapters cover admissions to all types of school including academies, community, voluntary aided and foundation schools, and also comprehensive and grammar schools.
